Alpacas are a wonderful investment. They are:
*Ecologically friendly (tread lightly!)
*Use relatively little space (up to 10 alpacas per acre of pasture!)
*Eat less than other livestock (1-2 flakes of hay per day plus a handful of grain and a mineral supplement is all they need!)
*Can be halter trained and shown
*Have wonderful fleece
*Farm Tax Advantages are possible
*Great personality and a joy to be around
*Quiet
*Clean (they use a community dung pile in ONE spot!)
*Easy to fence
*Smart!
